What is the Check-In/Check-Out Feature?

The Check-In/Check-Out feature allows users to log the exact start and end times of an activity along with their GPS location. It records the duration automatically, ensuring accurate tracking of where and how long the activity took place.

How to Use the Feature to Log Time and GPS Location?

  1. Navigate to the scheduled activity in the mobile app under a Contact, Company, or Deal.

  2. The Check-In button appears only for scheduled activities.

  3. Click Add Check-In details to open the confirmation pop-up.

  4. Confirm to record the time and location.

  5. The activity status updates, and the Check-Out button is available.

  6. Tap Check-Out when the activity is completed. It will open the confirmation pop-up.

  7. Confirm to record the end time and location.

  8. The system calculates the time spent between Check-In and Check-Out.

  • If within the same day - shows in hours and minutes.

  • If spanning multiple days - shows in number of days.

  • If exceeding two months - check-out fails.

  1. In the List View, you can use the column settings to enable Check-In, Check-Out, and Duration fields for display.
Note:
  • The Check-In and Check-Out actions can be performed only from the mobile app.

  • In the web app, details can only be viewed, not edited.

  • The check-in option is accessible to the sales owner of the activity.
