Reviewing Individual Deal Records

The Deal Detail View provides a connected and intelligently organized view of each deal. It brings together the most relevant updates, actions, and linked records so users can stay focused, navigate with ease, and manage every stage without breaking context.

Accessing the Deal Detail View

  1. Go to the Deal Module from the main navigation.

  1. Click on a deal to open its Detail View.

  2. At the top, view the deal name, value, primary contact, and associated company. If the deal is marked as rotten, a label appears showing the number of inactive days.

  1. Click the primary contact and company names redirects to their respective detail pages.

  2. Hover over the deal name reveals the edit icon.

  3. Click to update the title, contact, or value, then click Save to confirm or Cancel to discard changes.

Deal Information & Details

The left-hand menu provides access to all key sections associated with the deal, such as overview, details, timeline, and linked records, each section is explained in the following steps.

Deal Overview

The Overview section provides a snapshot of the deal’s progress, key details, and recent activities

  1. In the Overview section, use the scale bar to track the deal’s stage, time spent in each stage, and overall progress.

  1. Hover over circles on the scale bar to view stage names.

  2. Use the stage dropdown to move the deal to another stage or mark it as Won or Lost (with reasons and close dates).

  1. Use the pipeline dropdown on the top left to shift the deal to another pipeline, starting at its first stage.

  1. View the Expected Close Date on the right side and edit using the date picker.

  1. Review the Probability displayed on the right side, editable from the pipeline drawer.

  2. Add and manage Tags below the scale bar to categorize the deal.

  1. Review Basic Information, including deal Title, Stage, Pipeline, Deal Value, Sales Owner, and Company.

  1. Hover over fields to edit details or click Show All to view additional deal details.

  2. Check activity and engagement through visual bars for Top Activity and Most Active Users.

  • Top Activity: Icons representing activity types.

  • Most Active Users: Profile images of the most engaged users.

  1. Below that:
  • Upcoming Activity: Displays scheduled tasks or a +Activity** button if none exist.

  • Recent Conversation: Shows the latest email or a Send Email button.

  • Related Contacts: Displays linked profiles or a +Add Contact button.

Note:

Clicking any linked record, such as an activity, conversation, or contact, opens its respective detailed view or interaction window.

Deal Details & Fields

The Deal Details section provides a structured view of all fields associated with a deal, including system-defined and custom fields.

  1. Click Deal Details from the side menu.

  1. Use the search bar at the top left to find fields by name or value.

  2. Click Manage Fields at the top-right to access the data fields settings.

  3. Use the Show Empty Fields toggle to hide or display fields without values.

  1. The fields are displayed in the following order:
  • The Tags field appears first for quick categorization.

  • Basic Information – Displays key deal-related fields.

  • System Fields – Includes editable system-defined fields not included in Basic Information.

  • System Information – Non-editable fields such as tags, source, and system-generated data.

  • Custom Field – Displays user-created custom fields.

  1. Hover over any editable field to reveal the inline edit icon.

  1. Click the icon to make changes.

Timeline History

Provides a chronological view of all key events and updates related to the deal. Filter events by Calls, Emails, Notes, Activities, Files, and Updates.

Internal Conversations

Displays all communication related to the deal. It includes toggles for All Conversations, Email, Phone, and Facebook Messenger. Each toggle shows the respective conversation count and allows you to view conversations by channel.

Scheduled Activities

Shows all scheduled and completed tasks associated with the deal. Toggle between All Activities, Upcoming, Completed, and Overdue to view by status.

  • In All Activities, the list is grouped as: Overdue → Upcoming → Completed.

  • Within each group or toggle, activities are sorted by start date and time in ascending order.

  • Use Filter Activity to specific activity types.

  • Click + Activity button at the top right to create new tasks.

Notes

Add or manage notes related to the deal.

  1. Click on Notes from the side menu.

  2. Type directly in the input field with the placeholder.

  • Mention teammates using @name in the note and add your doubt or comment for them.

  • Format text using options such as bold, italic, underline, lists, or links.

  1. Notes can be edited, pinned, or deleted as needed.

  1. Mentioning a teammate sends them a notification if they have access to the contact.

Attached Files

Upload and manage deal-related files.

  1. Click Files from the side menu to open the Files section.

  1. Use the +File option at the top right to upload a file (maximum size 50 MB).

  2. You can upload files in the following supported formats: DOCX, DOC, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, CSV, XLSX, TXT, HTML, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG.

Note:

Note: File name including extension can be up to 255 characters.

Associated Contacts

Displays all contacts linked to the deal in a list view with default contact details.

  1. The primary contact is marked with a Primary tag.

  1. Use the column settings icon to customize the list layout.

  2. Click +Contact at the top right to add a new contact to the deal.

Associated Products

Shows all products linked to the deal in a list view with their key details.

  1. View the list of products associated with the deal.

  2. To add more, click the +Product located from the top-right corner of the Deal Detail page.

Followers

Displays the list of followers associated with the deal, including their role and the timestamp when they were added.

  1. Manage followers using the Manage Followers option to add or remove them.

Deal Action Tools

The Deal Action Tools, located at the top-right corner of the Deal Detail Page, allow users to quickly manage deal outcomes and perform key interactions:

  • Won: Opens the Closed Won pop-up to enter the won reason and deal closed date. After saving, a Reopen button becomes available. **

  • Lost: Opens the Closed Lost pop-up to enter the lost reason and deal closed date. After saving, the Reopen button appears.

  • Email: Opens the compose tab with the contact’s primary email prefilled. Sent emails appear in the deal’s conversations.

  • Call: Initiates a call with the primary contact. Call details and notes can be logged afterward.

  • +Product: The +Product option to quickly add products related to a deal.

Ellipsis Menu Options

Click the ellipsis icon in the top-right corner to access additional actions, as shown below:

MergeCombine two deals into a single entity, consolidating their information and removing duplicates.
CloneCreate an exact copy of an item, duplicating all of its data and settings, while the original remains unchanged.
DeleteMove the deal to the recycle bin. Deals remain there for 90 days and can be restored before permanent deletion.
Log a CallRecord details of a call related to the deal.
ExportSave and transfer data from the current system to a different format or location, often for use in another application or for backup purposes.
ArchiveMove the deal to the archived view without deleting it, keeping all data for reference.
