Managing Your Sales Pipeline & Stage

Pipelines and stages are structured views of the sales process, where pipelines organize deals from start to finish and stages represent each step within that process. Together they give a clear picture of deal progress, help track opportunities, and simplify forecasting and management. Initially, the default pipeline, General, is displayed with its stages: New, Won, and Lost.

Note:

Default pipeline cannot be deleted. If any another pipeline is deleted, deals associated with it will be moved to the default pipeline's first stage.
