What are Deal Fundamentals in Twozo?

In Twozo Customer Relationship Management (CRM), a deal represents a potential sales opportunity and tracks a lead’s progress from the first interaction to the final decision. Essential components include the deal’s stage in the pipeline, expected revenue, probability of conversion, relevant contacts, and important deadlines. Effective deal management enables accurate sales forecasting, improved pipeline tracking, detailed performance analysis, and stronger customer engagement.

Definition :

Deal stage pipeline – Tracks the progress of deals through various phases of the sales process

Expected revenue – The predicted financial outcome from a deal.

Probability of conversion - The probability of closing a deal, typically expressed as a percentage.

Relevant contacts – The key individual associated with a deal who hold influence or decision-making power.

Significant deadline – A critical date by which essential tasks or decisions must be completed.

Rot Days – The number of days a deal has remained without progress.

How to Create a New Deal in Twozo?

Creating deals in Twozo allows you to manage business opportunities and track their progress through the sales pipeline. Here are the step-by-step instructions to create a deal in Twozo:

  1. From the homepage, click the Deal icon in the top left sidebar.

  1. On the Deals page, click + Deal at the top right corner.

  1. In the Add Deal drawer, enter the following details as described below:
FieldsDescription
Title*Name or description of the deal.
Pipeline and Stage*Select the current stage of the deal within the sales process.
Won Reason*If applicable, select the reason for why the deal was successfully closed.

Note: This field is mandatory when the Won stage is selected.
Lost Reason*If applicable, select the reason why the deal was lost or unsuccessful.

Note: This field becomes mandatory when the Lost stage is selected.
Deal Closed On*The date when the deal was closed.

Note: This field becomes mandatory when the Won/Lost stages are selected.
Primary Contact*Main point of contact associated with the deal.

Note: If the contact is not found in the database, you can create a new contact by adding their First Name, Email, Phone, Sales Owner, and required custom fields.
Related ContactsSelect the contacts associated with this deal. This helps track who is involved from the customer's side. This field functions similarly to the Primary Contact.
CompanySelect the company linked to the deal to identify the organization involved.

Note: If the company doesn’t exist in the database, create a new entry by adding the company’s Name, Sales Owner, and required fields.
Deal ValueEnter the monetary value of the deal, essential for forecasting and analyzing potential revenue. You can input the value manually or select it via the product tag.
Sales Owner*Assign the sales representative responsible for managing the deal. This ensures accountability and proper follow-up.
ProductSelect the product or service associated with the deal. This helps categorize the deal and understand the customer's needs.
Note:

An asterisk (*) next to the field indicates a mandatory field.

  1. After entering all the required details, click Save.

      Alternatively, you can click Save & New to save the current deal and immediately create another.

      Completing all these steps to ensures your created deal will be visible on your Deal page.

Note:

If the deal matches an existing record in the CRM based on details like Name, Email, or Phone Number, the system displays a duplicate suggestion notification.

What is Global Search and how do I use it?

  • The global search option in Twozo allows users to quickly find deals, contacts, and other records across the entire CRM system. By entering keywords or criteria into the search field, users can instantly locate relevant information and streamline navigation.

  • Also, this feature provides a comprehensive search capability that spans Deals, Contacts, Companies, Products, Activities, Notes, and Files, ensuring users can quickly find the information they need without manually navigating through each category.

  • This search will also bring up any items linked to what you searched for.

Recent items in Search: Before entering any text in the search box, you can view your most recent search terms and items you've interacted with.

Recently searched: These are the last two keywords you entered in the search bar.

Recently viewed: These include items you have recently created, viewed, or edited, displaying the last 14 items in the dropdown.

Adding non-existing records in search

When searching for records that do not exist within the system, the search results will show No results found! Additionally, there is an option provided to add the searched term as a new deal, contact, or company.
